FAQ

What makes Danicorp hoses different from others on the market?
We use only the highest quality breathing hose from name brand manufactures here in the US. The fittings are made to our specifications out of quality half-hard brass from reputable suppliers, and we use chrome plating, not nickel.

What about a warranty?
Our products carry a one (1) year manufacturer’s warranty, but only if purchased through one of our accredited distributors or original equipment manufacturers. Hoses that develop problems under normal diving conditions, show no signs of abuse, or have been damaged due to diver negligence, will be replaced for one of the same kind, length, and color if available. Contact your dealer/distributor to return the hose.

Do I need an Return Material Authorization number to return a hose covered under warranty?
Yes. Contact your dealer/distributor before you do anything. Effective 1 October 2008, all returns will require an RMA number or the return will not be accepted.

If I ordered the wrong item, can I return it?
In most cases, we will accept returned items within 30 days of the production date, but there will be a 15% restocking fee. Custom made hoses (other than standard scuba lengths/ fittings) will not be accepted, nor will hoses that are less than 15” in length.

How do I know if I have one of your hoses?
Look on the ferrule (usually on the female end) under the crimp. All of our hoses are clearly marked with a “D” followed by the date code. Example: D 10 08. If your hose does not have this marking (on either end of the hose), then it is not a Danicorp hose.

How short, or how long can you make my hose?
The shortest we can make any hose is about four (4) inches.
For the safety of the diver, we will not make hoses longer than 150 ft.

My hose has bubbles . . . is that normal?
If the bubbles are just collecting on the outer cover of the hose, then yes . . . that is normal. Under pressurization, small amounts of air can get trapped and work its way out of the inner tubing. Hose manufacturer’s pin-prick (perforate) the outer cover of their products, giving the air a way to be released. As the hose is used, these bubbles will disappear.

What if my hose has a rising stream of bubbles?
If this is the case, you should quit using the hose immediately. This may not be a life threatening situation, but you do not want to take that chance.
